Producing the world’s first Viiv-certified television, Acer has come up with its captivating AT3705-MGW 37-inch HD-ready LCD TV featuring the compatibility of networked media devices with Intel Viiv tech-based PCs and the ability to run digitally copyrighted/networked files (DTCP-IP) as well.
This latest 37-inch LCD TV, no doubt, is of immense value for people interested in or related to a Viiv media center or entertainment industry, who need to protect their valuable copyrighted material. But I don’t think that regular customers do really need to attach the built-in Viiv software to guard any sort of patented standards. No words on pricing and availability.
