The bigger the better, size does make difference while we want to go for purchasing a new TV. But since Sony is known for big on size they ensure of not compromising on either sound or clarity! The latest rear projection TV from Sony; the 70″ SXRD model KDS-Z70XBR5 and 60” KDS-Z60XBR5 are about 40 per cent slimmer than their earlier models. They come with Motionflow 120Hz high frame rate technology.

The feature is flexible with 4 modes comprising “off” that can be changed by the user to go with the content, whether it is high-def features or Blu-ray Disc movies. The latest Photo TV HD mode imitates the appearance of real printed photography to the set.
This is carried out by replicating first-rate digital photos by fine-tuning parameters; like sharpness, gradation and color. The additional characteristics of the 70″ SXRD model KDS-Z70XBR5 and 60” KDS-Z60XBR5 are x.v.Color technology, Theater Mode, DmeX compatibility, Xross Media Bar (XMB) interface, Internet connectivity and the Theatre Sync characteristic.

I’m curious if it would be a good idea to mount a projection television on the wall. From consumer reports to manufacturer recommendations, it’s mentioned that projection televisions require ample space to allow a good amount of ventilation. Without a good amount of cooling, the bulbs have a higher chance of burning out. Of course, this could be said of any home theater device, but more is said of projection televisions versus plasma’s or lcd’s.
Love Sony’s SXRDs. You’ve got to have a pretty serious sized room to work a 70” TV at home though.
