
Black Friday, the informal start of the holiday shopping spell, is turning out to be the favorite trading day for most of the HDTV retailers all over the places, for the sale of LCD TVs over 30 inches increased about 297 percent, whereas the Plasmas experienced the hike of 140 percent on the day, in comparison to previous year’s Black Friday trading. On the other LCDs below 30 inches marked a take off of 86 percent, in comparison to 63 percent flutter of Plasma.
Cut-down rate of $988 for 42-inch Plasma HDTV, which is about $ 400 less than the usual, was the major attraction for the weekend shoppers said the report of NPD Group.
No wonder over increased sales of the HDTV, for these days people are ready to spend few bucks on entertainment articles and weekend is the most favorite time to do some shopping , as it is the time to wind up the week and do some freaking as well as shopping. And cut-down rates really stimulates the shoppers to come out from their homes.
