Believe it or not! Acer has come up with its latest AT3720, a 37-inch LCD HDTV, but for a surprisingly economical price of about US $1,285. Featuring the 1,366 x 768 resolutions, 1200:1 contrast ratio and the brightness of 450cd/m2, the 37-incher LCD from Acer presents sharp images and lively and solid colors as well. Now the question is, whether the Acer AT3720 will be able to keep up with the standards set by other leaders. I don’t so. Though, the picture looks supremely impressive, together with the raw power, the offered brightness (450cd/m2) of the AT3720 is somewhat lower than usual and the bleak edges sometimes look exaggerated as well. Moreover, Acer needs to work more on its operating system and motion handling to stay alive in the fray for supremacy.
