Bigger is always better in the HDTV arena but here at CES 2007, Sharp takes away all the charm by showcasing its 108-inch LCD that puts other largest plasmas to shame. Sony, Panasonic, and Samsung must be feeling the heat and charm of the Sharp’s booth. Sharp took away the title of owning world’s largest plasma from Panasonic that dropped the 103-inch plasma last year.
Though plasmas can beat LCD panels on some grounds like black levels and viewable angle but still LCD market is catching up swiftly now and LCDs have come a long way than expected.
Hats off to Sharp! Holy damn! This beast is gigantic.
