I think many of you would now be planning a high-end projector or a new game console for your kids. But have you ever thought that what the use of these devices is until you have a cool screen to enjoy them.
Stewart Filmscreen Corporation has presented a tempered screen at CES-2007. Though, the screen was developed more than a year ago the technology still deserves to be mentioned here. The screen combines two pieces of tempered glass and measures just 0.5-inch thick with a special diffusion material in between the glass plates this material allows the images that are projected from behind to be displayed at the front side.
But like all good things this high-end tempered screen will set you back by about $199 per square feet. The company has also commented that the maximum possible size of the screen is a whooping 126 x 204-inches.
