
Finally, Fujitsu and Hitachi’s joint venture has proclaimed its Fujitsu Hitachi Plasma
TV sale from March 2007. These two companies came together in 1998 for the development of drive control, PDP cell design, processes and materials, as well as related production equipment and volume process technologies. FHP venture was aimed at Panel Development Project, improving panel brightness and volume production of low-cost panels.
March 2007 onwards FHP will launch the production of new PDP, HD 50/60′ TV and 50/60′ HD Ready (1280×1080) TV with the options of the brightness ranging from 1000cd/m2 to 1300cd/m2 and contrast ratio from 5000 to 10000.
