I think Hitachi loves to name its products with the surname ‘Woo’. For me, the word ‘Wooo’ sounds stupid. Anyways, Hitachi has unveiled the new Hitachi WOOO W37L-H9000 HDTV uses 37V panel and the ISP alpha technology. It offers a wide viewing angle of 178-degrees and a resolution of 1366×768 pixels with the brightness of 500cd/m2. The built-in HDD offers 250GB capacity for video recording. Its HD translating technology, XCodeHD, has the ability to compress the recording to its half at the very same resolution. The Woo W37L-H9000 is priced at around $3050 and is expected to hit market in September.
