Equipped with an SPDIF port for digital audio, the Portable Multimedia allows you to acquaint your own user interface, and watch DVDs without the disc by playing back an .iso DVD image file for a cost price $229 for the 40GB unit and up to $389 for 120GB.
You will have to acquire a $23 component cable for 1080i or 720p HDTV and it does not attach HDMI port and 1080p as well, which is not much gratifying.
