
With the increase in the technology, HDTV screens are getting thinner day by day. JVC has come out with their 58-inch HD-58S998 and the 65-inch HD-65S998, two new slim HD-ILA sets that doesn’t exceeds 12-inches thickness. Combining JVC’s D-ILA, Dee-Illa with a gangsta lean, the latest displays presents a new mirror and lens to reduce the projection distance and trim down the sets by a long way.
Featuring the contrast ratio of 10,000:1, owing to the dynamic iris, the JVC sets also boasts two native 1080p HDMI inputs. The HD-58S998 will be available in January for $3,299, whereas, the HD-65S998 will possibly hit the market by March for $4,199.
If you don’t have proper place to hang the big screens on your walls, the new JVC sets will offer a better option for wall mounted displays. It is always nice to have a substitute to choose between in accordance to your needs.
