Now, you may be hopeful of materializing your dream, for LG is all set to launch its latest 42-inch HD plasma featuring the integrated OCAP (open cable application platform) technology, which would allow you to run the DRM right on your television sets without any fuss.
Presenting the iDCR interactive competence and the HD interactive services, just as HD VOD, the 42PC1DN will boast multistream CableCARD support as well. There isn’t much information about other specs right now but the new plasma is going to rock with its most probably en suit downloadable content protection (DCAS). No words on pricing and availability either.
