It’s getting tougher for the customers to choose the just right LCD TV as hardly a day passes when some company doesn’t come up with new models. Anyway, Mitsubishi has launched eight new 1080p LCD TVs, with all of them featuring at least three HDMI 1.3 inputs and support for x.v.Color (80% more color space than ATSC color space).

The four new series announced are the 133 Series, 134 Series, 144 Series and the ‘Diamond’ 244 series. The 133 Series includes 40-inch LT-40133 ($2,700), 46-inch LT-46133 ($3,400), and the 52-inch LT-52133 ($4,500). These three models feature three HDMI, three component inputs, and a USB port

The 134 Series has a single model dubbed 40-inch LT-40134 ($2,900) that boasts PerfectTint technology and NetCommand.

The 144 Series includes two models, a 46-inch LT-46144 ($3,900) and the 52-inch LT-52144 ($5,100). Both these feature an extra component input and Smooth120Hz.

The last one, the ‘Diamond’ 244 series has a 46-inch LT-46244 ($4,500) and a 52-inch LT-52244 ($5,700). The features are same as of 144 Series but it also rocks CableCard slot, TV Guide Daily, and a RS-232 port.

All the eight LCDs boast Mitsubishi’s PerfectColor calibration tools that let you adjust the picture to your taste.
