NEC has come out with 2 more MULTEOS LCD HDTV models - 40-inch M40 and 46-inch M46 with 1200:1 and 1000:1 contrast ratios respectively. Both these models have nothing new in them and support all the standard features like “full HD” (read: 1,920 x 1,080 resolution) panels, HDMI, DVI, “high efficiency” backlights, VESA mount compatibility, screen savers, automatic video input detection, 450 cd/m2 brightness. A long response time of 18-millisecond which I don’t think is going to be appreciated by either of its customers. A 178-degree viewing angle is satisfactory.
The only feature that may inspire you to throw a handsome amount for these TVs is their appearance. Both these models bare very sleek and sexy looks with a beautiful combination of silver blaze in black expance.
The products will be available by January 31st in Japanese market.
