Gone are the days when buying an LCD TV was very expensive deal. Panasonic has announced a new series of LCD’s that will suite your pocket. The two models 26″ and 32″ will be initially available, built using IPS Alpha technology with a fair resolution of 1336 x 768 pixels. All the other standers features like digital / analog TV tuner, SD card slot (support for SDHC cards) for viewing JPEG images, HDMI input, Ethernet and a Viera link compatible remote control are common amongst two models.
The 32′ model has a contrast ratio of 7000:1 and the other has a ratio of 6000:1. The most impressive feature for this series is a speaker cone made from bamboo that delivers an output of 20 watts. The models will be available by April 20 in Japan at a price of just 170,000 Yen ($ 1450) and 200,000 Yen ($ 1700) respectively.
