The four new Aquos Full HD LCD screens from Sharp are heading to hit the shelves in UK stores. All the four models fall under Sharp’s LC-XD1E series with a screen size ranging from 37 inches to 52 inches. The screens deliver fine HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 along with its capability to accept 1080p native signal.

The bigger ones including the LC-46XD1E and LC-52XD1E offer a contrast ratio of 10,000:1 with its Dynamic Contrast Enhancement mode (2000:1 otherwise) and a 4ms response time while the lower-end LC-42XD1E and LC-37XDE1E come with a 6ms response time (still impressive) along with a 1,200:1 contrast ratio.

All the four LCDs feature Freeview tuners, two HDMI inputs, Sharp’s four-wavelength backlight system and high-gloss black finish.
