It seems like that the war between Blu-ray and HD DVD is the war between Sony and Toshiba. While Toshiba unveiled the first HD-DVD recorder last month, we were expecting some news as the response to Toshiba’s announcement from the Sony.
Now, Sony has showcased the first Blu-ray recorder in Japan at the Sony dealer convention 2006. For now, there is no words on the release date and full specs but it would most probably have a 500GB hard drive.
