
While Sony lately added nine new LCD HDTVs to it Bravia series, Toshiba, sensing the heat, has rolled out two new ranges of LCD television, the X-series and the Z-series. Th X-series models will come in 40-inches or 46-inches size, boasting 1080p support, three HDMI and two SCART interfaces. The Z-series LCDs will come in 37, 42, 47, 52, and 57-inch models. While the X-series will have Active Vision LCD technology and built in Freeview, the Z-series TVs will be equipped with Active Vision M100. Bothe the series tout glossy black finish and the models will hit the market later this year.
