Everyone looks for full HD resolution these days when buying an LCD. While the 37-inches and the 47-inches LCDs introduced by Uniden months back, they lacked the ‘full HD’ pixel resolution. Now, Uniden has just upgraded both the models and increased the pixel count to full 1920×1080 resolutions and the pricing is still the same.

Both the upgraded models rock a 500cd/m2 brightness, anti-glare coating, integrated analog and digital tuner, 2x HDMI and 2x component. The LCDs will hit the shelves in Japanese stores beginning December 8 for a price of $1,640 and $2,071 respectively.

No info about the contrast ratio. Why did they miss that in press release?
