Persisting on their strategy of selling products that allow device makers to create smaller gadgets, Via Technologies has proclaimed the CX700M digital media chipset, a new chipset that brings HDTV playback to small, battery powered-devices.
Plying Via’s C7 and Eden microprocessors, the new chipset incorporates premium graphics, audio, storage, memory and HDTV support that offers cinema-like picture and audio quality, into a solitary wrap up.
The CX700M digital media chipset will be available to device makers by the end of the month and no wonder if future handheld media players and small laptops will come laden with it.
