As stated by the Intel CEO Paul Otellini YouTube wants to provide the reception in high definition resolution in the recent future. A much-needed move, as quality matters the most as far as video reception is concerned.
Considering its present amount, Otellini clarified that the faster processing would have occupied the majority of a PC’s CPU time 5-10 years ago.
